🎥 RIVER OF FREEDOM is finishing its 6th week of cinematic release in New Zealand. Since Thursday 7 September we have had a total of 52 cinemas screen our film, and have been ranked at least in the top 13 films each week!

Last week, on Thursday 12 October 2023, RIVER OF FREEDOM started the week at NUMBER FIVE in the BOX OFFICE!! And that's with no more than 22 cinemas showing the film that day.

There are still 27 cinemas with sessions booked, and another two cinemas came on board just last week. For the most up-to-date information about cinemas playing the film, head to our Screenings page and click on your local cinema to go directly to their website.

Cinemas are reporting a FANTASTIC response from the public, especially from cinemas who had been hesitant to screen RIVER OF FREEDOM! With so much public interest, these theatres have added a lot more sessions to their schedules than originally planned.

What next for River of Freedom?
|
We have had overwhelming interest in the film from people here at home, from our neighbours across the ditch, and also internationally. We plan to release a Blu-ray with a book about the film. And yes, we are working towards an online release of RIVER OF FREEDOM as soon as possible!
